No you do not. It is not a requirement to have a registered company to get accredited as a solar installer.

Yes, the first person will pay the full amount of R9 900. For every additional person you can get up to a 50% discount on each enrollment.

There are two types:
No, AREP accreditation provides you accreditation in different countries. For example: Ireland, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Rwanda, Swaziland, Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia.
Yes. For you to do the installation in RSA, you have to get the accreditation in RSA.
The Solar Accreditation test with AREP is an open book test, which allows you to complete the test with your notes and theory lists provided.
You get 3 attempts.
1ste attempt – you can stop, exit, and resume again.
With the 2nd and 3rd attempt you will only be able to enter the link once and must complete the test.
There is a fee of R1500 to retake the exam.
You can work anywhere in South Africa, there are no restriction.
Municipalities require all solar installers to have P4 accreditation or a GreenCard.
Our Solar Agent (Full Package) includes P4 Level 1 accreditation. (if you pass the AREP exam.)
